This video illustrates the flow of an energetic bast from the sun heading out to the edges of the heliosphere. The heliosphere is a sort of bubble blown by solar wind that envelops our solar system. Its boundary is fluid and changes with the cycles and activity of the Sun. The animation show's how the blast will travel over the nine months of time and how it will extend the heliosphere by nearly 400,000 million miles as it absorbs the impact.
